Happy August Everyone!

I can't believe it's August, where did summer go?  It seems like time goes by so quickly, before you know the kids will be back in school.

There's still time to get in a trip to the beach or several more trips to the local swimming hangout. I love to spend these not-as-hot-as-July August days reading and doing handicrafts like knitting and crocheting outdoors.

I am glad the summer passes quickly this year. Next summer, hoping all the grandkids will be here....so excited.

Mean while, I garden.  Always bitter-sweet as the time goes by to slowly put the garden to bed. However, there is still August.

It got here quickly.

My son bought me an air conditioner last night. My hero! August starting out so very hot sand stiffling.

Yes this year has been going very fast. I cant believe we have less than 5 months until Christmas. My daughters birthday is in 3 months and in 4 months I will have been at my job for a whole year and that is a huge accomplishment for me.

my daughter starts school on August 14th. hard to believe she will be in 10th grade. I have her signed up to take a free SAT course with khan academy.  next monday (8-21) we have to tesify as witnesses against my husbands sister. we were eyewitnesses to a crime government related that she did. the judge is very biased .siding with his sister before hearing the case or seeing our evidence.

Happy August everyone! at least it finally feels like summer in Mass. It is very hot and humid.
hope this month doesn't fly by too.would like to enjoy some of the summer.
Hope we all make lots of money this month. have a great month!

Our kids down here in Georgia are already back in school and you are right, Summer flew right by. I almost missed seeing it or feeling the hot weather.
