I don't think it is an issue if we agree or not because Trump is going to do whatever it is that he wants to do. I think this is a diversion of some sort. I don't think Trump really ever have our best intrest at heart. Focus on what really matters not this diversion.

Be allowed to join, but not serve in combat roles and the government should not have to pay for their personal lifestyle decisions with our tax dollars.  It seems many of them join just to get their operations paid for, which isn't fair to others who may need real help.  They also miss many days when they have operations which is really not fair to those who have to fill in for them

Boy, do I agree with both of you!  The only thing I would add is that anything to do with such a decision should not be paid for with tax dollars.  This is a personal decision and it needs to come out of personal money, not military or other health benefits.

This is one of the few things that I have agreed with Trump on.  I definitely do not think the U.S. taxpayers should be responsible for footing the medical bills for their treatments.  Elective surgery should come out of their pocketbooks.

Curious, do you approve of taxpayers paying for *bleep* for the men in the military?  We are paying for it.

This has nothing to do with a transgender getting surgeries or anything of that nature. It's the fact that they are being denied the right to serve the country. What about the many transgender folk that are already bravely serving right now? Denying this right gives the US less servicemen and women out there. How does this make us safer?
