I don't have an absolute favorite and order several different ones, being open to new sandwiches that are introduced.  However, Subway is probably my top favorite fast food restaurant as it is both tasty and usually healthy.  Plus, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Terriyaki chicken, steak n' cheese and meatball sub are my top three (in that order) I enjoy piling on the vegetables. My son's high school band sold local business discount cards for $10 ... these things are a hit.  You can visit as many places on the card you want once per day.  Subway has a deal on there when you buy a 6" meal you get a free 6" sub to go with it. My husband and I go there once a week for lunch when the kids are in school.

We were there once about 30 years ago. We didn't find anything "fantastic" about the subs. We had to go 30 miles away to order there.  In fact, there are now 4 Subways in my area and some of their commercials make the food look so yummy but, I had a step-grandaughter work at one (they're all owned by one guy) and she got yelled at for how much meat she put on them. (Hers looks like the commercials.) It was supposed to be 2 pieces of bologna or other sliced meat. Nothing like they look in the commercials. Anyway, she was so embarrassed about the itsy bitsy meats allowed that she quit soon after.  Who wants to pay $6 for 2 pieces of deli meat? Not us. So....

Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt...lots of calories and fats...otherwise, what's the point?

I usually get turkey, next would be meatball.  Years ago I didn't like their chicken it had a funny texture.  Last year I got some kind of chicken sub for the first time in years and it was actually good.  The texture was much improved.

I always get the roasted chicken breast. Sometimes I'll change up the bread selection, the toppings or the sauce. So pretty boring here.

Don't get me wrong. I like the other sandwiches, but I try not to eat all that meat at once!  :angel11:

I haven't been to subway in years.  My husband used to like their subs but I have never been crazy about them.  They are reasonably priced and if I were going to get one it would be a steak and cheese.
