I think smoking is smoking as far as I am concerned. I think vaping is better because it does not bother other people as much but I don't think it is better for you.

I haven't smoked in years but my wife smokes a pack a day. (she is 79)

She has not been impressed with any of the E-cigarettes.

I personally used electronic cigarettes to wean myself off regular cigarettes and now use a vaporizer and have weaned myself off the nicotine.  I still use it occasionally for the times that I used to smoke out of habit but I am slowly weaning myself off of that part.

I have been tobacco free for 5 1/2 years.

Well congrats on decreasing the number of cigarettes you've been smoking.

I use them in hopes of eventually weaning completely off of cigarettes.   Cigarettes are not an easy habit to break.  I have been smoking for over 40 years and have attempted to quit more times than I can remember.  It is a horrible habit but very difficult to break.  I started long before there were any warnings and when it was fashionable to smoke.  There were commercials on tv, ads in magazines, billboards, everywhere.   No one was telling us how addictive it would be.   The use of electronic cigarettes has helped me reduce the number of cigarettes I smoke.

Even though they're better than cigarettes, they still have nicotine in them which is highly addicting. I don't want to chance it.

definitely great for those who smoke a lot... if they need to smoke in a place where they cannot go outside, this is a great alternative.

Have not tried one of the electronic ones before but some buds I know have and said it saves them money rather then buying a pack a week.
