Knee brace
« on: June 25, 2017, 03:52:55 am »
Do you wear a  custom made knee brace? If so, how do you like it? Is it comfortable?
After trying on a few different knee braces at the medical supply store, I am
Not having luck with finding one that fits right, so if  my last option does not work out
this week, they are going to measure my knee for a custom brace.

I don't wear a knee brace but I wear a ankle brace when I walk long distance or I am in dance class.  I have a weak ankle and if I do to much on it ,,,,  it will start hurting really bad.

I got it our local CVS Pharmacy   they did a real good job fitting me for it also.  I was impressed  LOL  the main guy from the drug department came out and helped me,,  did the measuring and picked different ones he thought would work.

hope your brace will work when you get it

Having the same problem. Need a knee brace.  I have sciatica, and want it for walking and garden work.

Have not found what works yet.

I had been wearing a knee brace.. thought it would help.  Lead to a month 1/2 of therapy.  I've continued with exercises and still have problems.  The therapist told me the braces I was wearing weren't doing a darn thing for me.... that I needed something specialized but it was going to be $100+.  So I've decided to cut out red meat.  That has helped.  Although yesterday I had another bout of knee pain.... followed up with chills, tummy ache etc... I think I'm dehydrated too.  Just gonna have to start taking better care of myself.
