Do You Think Some Of The Questions Being Asked On FC Is Too Personal?

I constantly see questions being asked on this site that are too personal and there are no boundaries or filters.  Of course I don't answer them, but some people never hesitate to ask questions that is none of their business.

People ask because some people do not mind answering. I wouldn't take things to personal in life.

 If you don't feel comfortable answering questions surveys might not be for you. I've never come across anything that I felt was overly personal especially since it's semi-anonymous

I don't think so.  People that don't know... ask.  We don't have to answer.  We have the choice to opt out.

I agree with those folks saying you don't have to answer, just move on.   I've never had a question that I felt was "too personal".  Especially since it is all anonymous.   I am a bit curious as to what you felt was too personal.

Most of the time surveys will ask if you are comfortable answering. But I've never felt uncomfortable with any questions

I can't think of anything that personal or embarrassing I've ever been asked in a survey here. Did you mean questions people are asking on the forums?

I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of surveys in the first place? You should sort of expect some personal questions. 

So far, I haven't seen any that offended me or that I thought were too personal. What boundaries and/or filters would you choose to have them respect?

If you mean the multiple options of gender and other related "new" items, I would agree it seems ridiculous, but they're checking for all possible demographics when they do that.

You can just skip it if you don't like it. No one is holding a gun to your head and saying, "Answer!"

Once or twice I felt that surveys went a little too far with personal questions but I just chose not to answer them. Nothing is forcing you to answer anything.

I do not like doing surveys that get too personal. And I do not answer forum posting if it gets too personal.

This is how *I* interpreted the question being posed, but it doesn't really matter if it is surveys or forum.  If it is too personal in your opinion to share, then don't share it.  Problem solved!
