Drug Testing at Work

I have been drug tested by a company for which I was applying for employment. I have no issues with taking a drug test. I now work for this company and I don't know if they do random drug test. No worries here.

I was drug tested when I got hired. It was no problem, of course, since I've never even dabbled in any drugs. They said they were goign to start random drug tests on employees but I haven't seen that yet.

I have gotten drug tested before I began a job but never on the job while at work. I know they sometimes do that if an accident happened on the job and they want to make sure drugs was not the cause of the accident.

I have never been drug tested while working at a job although I have been asked for drug tests when applying for jobs before. It never particularly bothered me to comply.

Alcohol is not a drug.  There are so many things wrong with your statement.  Yes, I have been drug tested a bunch of times.  So has anyone who has a JOB these days.  Seems only the welfare bums get money and don't have to be drug tested.  If I have to be drug tested to EARN the money then they should have to be drug tested to STEAL it from me!

Wake up, countrygirl 12.  The post says nothing about alcohol.  There's a joke about a Pepsi delivery guy testing positive for "Coke".  Can you say "SENSE OF HUMOR"?

Have been drug tested several times, no problem  I don't use them and never have.  I have also been finger printed for a background check. Again  did great , Never had a ticket of any kind.  I feel that since  a lot of us have been  checked so well, why isn't congress treated the same way, also feel like those on welfare and government hand outs tested. Seems like it  is just those who work are,

Yes I have been drug tested.  Where I work you must agree to be drug tested, have a police check, and an FBI clearance.  I had no problems with any of the 3.

On a serious side, I got the full background, drug testing for my current employer when I first got hired... eons ago..
 Even when I worked at Disney in my youth, they did urine tests for every employee.   I know employees that do hair analysis as well.... for drugs.

I guess it's okay if you suspect someone is using. Otherwise it isn't necessary. They can use those funds for better projects.
