Whats your plans

Whats your plans for the summer ? How many will be traveling? Do you feel its safe to be traveling with everything going on ?

My husband and I don't like to travel in the summer if at all possible.  We have a nice backyard pool and patio and enjoy using them with family and friends.  We save our traveling for the spring and fall when we visit family in Florida and California or take special vacations such as trips abroad or cruises.

Hopefully a day or weekend trip to the beach, a day at the local amusement park, and just some fun like going to the movies, shopping downtown, etc. We make an event out of going for an evening walk, so the summer will be pretty good no matter what.

Not sure what you mean by "with everything going on"? I do not plan on going to Syria or North Korea this summer-lol. Any place you go seems as if it could be a target and I do not live a life that subscribes to abstinence in the face of what may happen. I think that we all have an expiration date and I do not think mine is in the near future.  I am heading to a big concert in Chicago, a Biker fest in Sturgis (another in Colorado Springs, and may top that by crossing the street without looking both ways first. I need to visit my parents in the near future (probably three to four times this year) because their expiration date is closer. My mother had a hard time remembering who I was when I visited two months ago-very sad. That being said-live life to its fullest.

I would like to travel for the summer, but I got a few projects in the works and my wife is also studying to get a certification, so this poses a challenge. The only one who has a travel plan is our daughter on a summer camp.
