Garage Sales

This week is our little town's Garage Sale week.  Slow down!!  We have lots of traffic as shoppers are out in force looking for great deals.  Good luck to all sellers AND to the shoppers.

Our 100 mile sale is in full swing !!  It's nut,   but i got a toaster still in the box for a dollar!!

I don't usually bother with garage sales, once in a blue moon you find something cool but mostly people only ever sell the same junk you threw out 5 years ago.

I miss going to yard and garage sales. I used to go every week in my area but my last job forced me to work some weekends and then I became disabled and can't drive. It's hard enough trying to get Hubby to take me to the store (I take 1-1/2 hours whereas he takes 20 minutes) so I'm considered a shut-in.

My cousin died the other month and I didn't even get to his viewing. On Wed., another cousin died (she was a month younger than me) and the viewing and funeral is being held in the morning. hubby already complained because nothing else will get done that day.

I'm ready to smack him over the head. He's getting so ornery in his old age!

I absolutely love the spring because it means garage sales and flea markets!
One man's trash is my treasure. Plus picture frames and albums always tend to be cheap!

I never shop at them but do have one a year to get of things and earn a little cash

We are in the midst of a three-day garage sale this weekend.. I sold 16 purses.  Now I have room in my closet to purchase more. Happy Day.  I enjoy a nice garage sale.

I like doing flea markets because there are more people there in one spot.

That's pretty cool for the town to have a Garage Sale week!  People here just put up their own signs whenever they're having a garage sale, usually on the weekends.  Unfortunately I usually miss them because I like to sleep-in...

They are going to have a garage sale at our apartment community this coming weekend... I am really curious to see what the neighbors give away and if there is anything cute and useful

Sometimes you can find really nice things out of all the junk.

I enjoy going but always get stuff I don't really need so I purge the house about twice a year.

I use to set up at flea markets years ago.  I started going to yard sales to get things to sell.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Our 100 mile garage sale even gets the fire dept out cooking BBQ chicken and hot dogs to raise money for the dept.  There are closed off streets for blocks and you have to walk unless you're  picking stuff up you bought. Kid got pop and water stands all over !!  I miss  Kool-aid stands !!
