Two different things, Tacos are folded in half and Taquitos are rolled into a tube.

I love tacos and have had them i think just about every way, even to having octopus  on them when we were at a fisherman's market in Mexico and they were good, They deep fried it so it was crisp. With lime juice and of course  veggies.  I am willing to try out  most things, but do draw the line when it comes to the  stomach linings of  animals.

So you are saying Tacos De Sesos (beef brains) or Lengua (beef tongue) are still good with you? I grew up in Los Angeles.

Old Buddy, yes i have and not in ca.  Where we grew up in N.M. the  old families  ( Latino's)  used every  bit of the meat.  The brains are also good with scrambled  eggs and  salsa, the tongue was and is still used in stews and if prepared right they are really good on  tacos.

Wait, I thought taco meat was made with both beef & pork! Mmmmmm...... weird......

That's like saying a sandwich is made from peanut butter and jelly. They make tacos from all kinds of fillings, beef, pork, chicken, fish, shrimp, brains, tongue and my favorite is Al Pastor (marinated pork).

Yeeewww!  Brains and tongue!  I don't think any manner of cooking or hiding these meats in a taco shell or tortilla could make me even try one.   

Now, the Al Pastor marinated pork sounds good.  I've never heard of that.

I love pulled pork, with taco seasoning, put it in a taco shell, with coleslaw on top, soooo good!
