It's snowing!!

You could try covering them with a blanket before they get covered in too much snow. That might help protect them from the elements. I hope they survive. Tulips are so pretty.

I can't belueve this!  Last week we had temperatures in the high 60s and today it's snowing like crazy. We are suppose to get 3 inches of this white stuff.  My tulips are starting to come up, hope this doesn't kill them.

Hope your flowers survive.  It seems everything is blooming early because of the mild winter. We may get a flake on Sunday but I'm really looking forward to warm weather.

I second renee10 on the warm weather on the West Coast. As a native East Coaster, however, I prefer the much colder weather. A higher chance of a free snow day from work!

I've never heard of a heated bird bath.  We have to pour hot water in ours to heat it up!  But I would like to learn more.  I will search to see what I find.  In middle Tennessee, we have had the most unusual winter.  It's been like spring and all the flowers have bloomed about 6 weeks early.  Our temps were up in the 70's last week and this next week night temperatures will be down in the 20's.  Our blueberry bushes are full of blooms and we are having to cover them.  I also went ahead and planted cold weather veggies in the garden just to see if it would work.  Everything is coming up and we are covering them, too.  We had a beautiful snowfall of a couple of inches, but it didn't even last 24 hours.  Weather patterns are changing!

Hasn't started here today but suppose to start tonight and get about 6 inches.  Really cannot complain because we have only 1 inch in the 85 days

Amazing how different the weather can be on the other side of the country! We're supposed to get mid 90s here this week and I turn on the news and see blizzard footage on the east coast.

It's a mess of snow and sleet and very windy here right now and going to continue through the day. Expecting 3-6 inches, but at least it's not as high as originally anticipated. I can't remember having this much snow before this late in March.
