Internet explorer
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:45:00 am »
someone told me that IE will be fazed out.
I noticed that a number of websites I had in my favorites were not showing up a all; they were just blank.
I used to be frustrated with IE years and years ago.
now that it is useful to me, it will be gone.

I don't like IE that much, but I haven't heard anything on it going away. I use Chrome.

It has been replaced by Microsoft Edge on windows 10. I only use it rarely. Don't trust that or IE.

Prefer Fire Fox.

Yeah, they are trying to faze it out and have been trying to do so for a few years now. People in the web development world are rejoicing and others who use it as their sole Internet browser for decades are going kicking and screaming. Of course that is just my observation and it certainly not a universal truth. However, Internet Explorer will be around for a few more years at least in some form or another.

Personally, I like Chrome or Firefox.

Are you sure about that? Personally I have stopped using IE a very long time ago... now my main browser is Firefox, followed by Chrome.

Internet Explorer has been going downhill for as long as I can remember. I hardly ever use this browser. I don’t think I will even notice when it becomes defunct. I certainly wouldn’t miss it either.

On an older computer IE worked well for some things. I haven't used it since getting my laptop in 2014. I do occasionally use Microsoft Edge for some of my sites.
