clubs and meetings

a lady started a club called "getting to know you"
neighbors go to the one hour meeting once a week.
sometimes, guest speakers come to talk.
it's interesting to hear about different hobbies, careers....
there are so many interesting things in this world.
we can explore them in a number of ways.

The only thing I belong to is a Dance Group.  Its a non profit group and there are 25 of us.  We go different place and dance and put on a show once a year to make money for different charities in our area. ages range from 33 to 72  and yes well dance

I ahve always wanted to be a part of a group or club. I know it is fun and you get to meet lots of friends and neighbors but my job adn all responsibilities just will not allow me to. Wish my job could be a little more flexible.

I belong to the Fraternal Order of Eagles. It's a wonderful organization that donates money to charity. Our local Eagles is right across the street from my house so when I go there for a few drinks, I don't have to worry about getting a DUI lol
I have met so many wonderful people there. If you have one that is local to you, check into membership. It's around $30 a year and you get so much out of it.
