I'm a day late, but I brought banana bread.

That's interesting.  Who makes up these "National ... Days"?  I really like banana bread.  Won a blue ribbon for mine once at a fair.

That is interesting. I never heard of honoring a particular food as a national day. I love all kinds of baked bread – especially banana bread with walnuts and raisins.

I have been wanting to make some home made banana bread for some time. I need to find a good recipe that is not too complicated but very delicious at the same time. Banana bread is so good when it is warm.

Banana Bread is one of the first things I taught myself how to bake.   I remember the first time I popped a loaf out of the bread pan... I was hooked on baking from that moment.  Oh and that first bite that was warm with butter spread on it.... OH I'm in the mood for some right now.

Oh that sounds good.. I should put some of my overripe bananas to good use. I got the kind that went straight from green to brown.
