They won't stop till you stop it. Yelling at you is the first thing that needs to stop. How rude    and calling him a baby is a insult to a baby.  Sounds like a jerk would be a better name. The more you do the more they want.  I have done it and (my jerk) went so far as to get mad that I was spending to much time taking care of my mother with cancer,  because I was gone to chemo treatments. I built that monster by doing and doing and doing for him, I had only myself to blame. So my mom is gone and so is the jerk!! Never again, it's my turn or nothing!

If women are pleasers and accommodating they attract people and pets who are demanding.  I agree with Oldbuddy when he says he'll behave that way as long as you let him get away with it.

I know - from my own personal experience that it is draining to try to constantly meet someone's demands.

Take care of yourself first.  If someone expects you to jump when they say jump - It's important that you relax and tell him to wait until you are ready.  He'll have more respect for you when you are empowered enough to stand your ground.

I think it is because women have to keep going no matter what - sick or whatever they still usually have children to take care of and food to cook - whatever.  Well hopefully he will be completely recovered soon and things will be back to normal for your family.
