What kind of food do you decorate with candy? You know decorating making food look good really is a skill. I only can think of cookies and cakes. Any more? ok but today is Decorating With Candy Day! I remember when my kids were in grade school they decorated the valentine cards with candy. I had a party and I decorated the room with dishes filled with cute candy, I got that idea from visiting my grandma she always candy containers filled with candy for her guest. How would you decorate with candy? Have a gr8 day!

I've made Christmas wreaths with candy and all candy bar wreaths as well, i also always hang candy canes on my xmas tree. I've seen some really cool pictures people have done using all jelly beans, the small jelly bellys that have every flavor under the sun so all colors as well. Kind of like paint by numbers but jelly beans.

I saw a recipe(haven't tried myself) that made jello molds and put gummy bears inside the jello for an unusual consistency when you take a bite.

The only thing I can think of are cand canes on the Christmas tree, not very original but that's about it for me

I have made Christmas wreaths from Rice Krispies and Red Hots; cards using mini candy bars; and at Thanksgiving we make turkeys using chocolate covered cherries, candy corn, chocolate chips and red hots on a Ritz cracker.

What about a good old traditional ginger bread house.  Technically still a cookie... but it's something.  Oh and blizzards... they're all sorts of candies to put in those.  In reference to the jello... I saw some gummy bear hearts with emoticons on them.  Oh they were so cute.  Those in jello knox blox would be fun.

Wow interesting question - like in your post I can only think of cakes and cookies but then I really don't decorate anything with candy.  I did cakes and cookies a few times when my sons were little but not any more.  Bad enough to eat one or the other lol especially for me as I have a sweet tooth that won't quit.
