I used to watch Mannix.  I hadn't heard this.  It's sad to learn of all these actors that I watched in my younger years passing on.

The show was a bit before my time, but I remember seeing the reruns on TV many years later. RIP Mike.

Yes i remember him and always watched the show with my future father-in-law in early 70s at my wife to be house.I think it was on Sunday nights and Barnaby Jones <Buddy Ebsen>was also a detective show that followed Mannix or preceded it.

It looks like he was way before my time. He might actually be before my parents' time based on what movies he was in.
