Do men go through menopause or just an age crisis?

My husband has been getting unreal lately. I can't say anything to him in a joking way because he blows his stack. He's been complaining about what i make for supper and complains about how it's made. I made one of his favorite soups last night and he said it's not the way I've always made it (yes it is, didn't change a thing).

He says I'm nagging him all the time. He says i"m getting just like his mother nagging all the time. I did tell him if I was like his mother, he'd never have any peace and quiet. I'd be complaining about everything under the sun. I rarely ask him to do anything. I don't even ask him to take out the garbage! He does it when he feels like it. He's goes to the garage every morning after his coffee and stays there until 7 p.m. He comes down, eats, and sits on the floor to watch TV until 11 p.m. Rarely talks to me and I'm afraid to say anything to him anymore for fear of him getting mad.   

I just don't know what to do anymore.  Any suggestions (besides getting him to a doctor - he won't go)?  He did just go through a cardiac catheterization but it went pretty good. His arteries are all open except the one that has been blocked for 10 years but even that is showing signs of "fading away."

Men do have menopause, their bodies change too. I would give him time. Its a phase, hopefully it will pass soon, for your sake.

Yes, they suffer from fatigue, depression, sexual problems and low testosterone.

My husband seems to be quite different with each year that goes by. I think they do go thru a change of life crisis. Call it menopause if you wish. I just never know day by day what kind of mood my husband will be in. Sometimes the day is great and sometimes I just want to leave the house to get away from him. Only thing keeping me here is that the good outweighs the bad. Most of our days are good. But when a bad day happens it is BAD !!

I think I have read that men so have hormonal changes like women do so I believe that men can go through PMS or menopause. Part of it may be age as well but a lot of people might start to think about their lives and things that they want to do as they get older and they should go do whatever makes them happy.

It wouldn't be called "menopause", but I'm sure men go through hormonal changes that affect their behavior. Actually, from my observations, I think they have just as many mood swings throughout their lives as women do. It might not be called PMS, but it has the same results.

I believe it is called a mid life crises for men, not to sure though

I turned 60 this year and I don't think I went through any "change of life".  I don't think there is an excuse for poor behavior.  No matter how we feel, we don't have the right to hurt the ones who love us.
