Why are so many topics no longer about Debate & Discuss

They should be under Off-Topic, not under the sub-heading of Debate & Discuss. I noticed this happening for a while now.  On the first page, there are 13 out of 20 posts that are not debate and discuss. They should have been just the Off-Topic heading.

And this bothers you why?  Your research is well-founded, however.

Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. That or they do not understand what debate & discuss means!

I don't pay attention to what topic a post is in, just if I can contribute to the discussion.

If others bring it up for the sake of nit-picking what does it say about them?The world is full of others that enjoy being controversial.

However it might be good managment for all of us to make the forum more efficient too.Lazinesss or not caring is what may cause posting in wrong areas.If its done un-intentionally i see no biggie.It reminds me of when others scold others about their spelling etc.

It becomes a problem with people are asking questions/looking for help and it's in the wrong board so it doesn't get addressed. You can also tell the people that are posting just random things to get 30 posts which goes against the basic guidelines to earn the bonus

Yeah, I know what you mean. But it happens in every section of the forum, not just D&D. Doesn't really bug me, though.

That's because people don't pay attention or comprehend what they read which goes along with people who just post choice questions on here instead of putting the their words in the context of a post.

So we have people posting general stuff in the Debate & Discuss forum and people posting political debates in the General Off-Topic forum

I don't understand why people would post general stuff here though, this forum doesn't get as much traffic as the other one.
