I agree, stores rush things. All they can think of is the money they can make.

Oh yeah they do. I saw Valentine's Day stuff last month. Haven't seen Easter yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Yeah, it disgusts me how much they rush the holidays. The commercialization of everything ruins it.

Was in the dollar store today and saw the Valentine stuff but no Easter yet but lots of empty shelves.

I understand most people get upset with the early displays but besides the companies making their money it helps buying little by little when you have extra money and not all at once for some people.

Wow, Easter stuff is super early..did they forget about St.Patrick's day?

If the store devotes an entire section to holiday items, I guess they have to put in the stuff for the next holiday as soon as possible.  Probably more profitable selling full-price Easter items than half-price Christmas items.

I agree, I have lots of little people to get things for, so getting it a little at a time ahead certainly helps me.  You don't have to stop and browse if it bothers you, just walk on by.

I had not been in the mall or retail stores lately. The only shopping I had been doing is food shopping. I am kind of glad that I am out of touch with that type of stuff because I definitely feel less rush to get the latest gadgets or the trendy stuff. And the positive side of it is that I do not spend money on stuff that is going to be outdated a couple of months later.

Unless i really need something for Easter or Valentines i just walk on by those ales, they hope for a lot of impulse buys.  I make a list and pretty much stick to it when i go shopping. Have to watch hubby sometimes if  he goes off  with part of a list i want him to get (keeps him out of my way) he will stop and pick up items we don't need. sometimes i let him keep one or two but iif it is more and we don't need it. Back on the shelf it goes. most of the time he has no idea of what is in the cupboard until i tell him why we don't need something.
