do you shoot off fireworks on new years eve

we do we always have the neighbors over and everyone chips in we get about 500 dollars worth but we live on 1 acre of land so we go back to the back of the property and shoot them off we have a great time every body loves them

We don't. I don't know if the housing association would appreciate it, haha. I'm not going to be able to go out to celebrate this year, because I'm stuck at home with a head cold! I hope everyone has a fun, safe New Year's Eve! I'm going to sit at home with sparkling grape juice.

Too expensive & too dangerous to handle. My neighbors though seen to make it a loud yearly tradition. I'm just wondering, aren't you supposed to set the fire crackers off after ball goes up not before hand?

It's typically about 10 below for New Years Eve.... so no.

It's illegal where I live to shoot off fireworks...  due to the risk of fire.
It's raining here, so I couldn't even if I wanted too.

My husband loves any reason at all to shoot off fireworks!  New Year's is just one of many!
