George passed away on a Christmas Day and 20 20 did a special on his death.

I heard about this a few days ago. I don't remember what site it was, but a website compiled a list of 71 celebrities/public figures that died in 2016.  There was quite a few in the month of December alone...

Out of the blue he was announced dead! I was so shocked I thought it was a joke then I recalled prince's death with the same reaction! George Michael's death was kind of creepy to me. He, dies on Christmas in which everyone relates to the popular song last Christmas, I'll never forget that song now! Also, the age he died at 53, the same age my husband died. Was never a fan but I loved a lot of songs he sang during my childhood years! RIP GEORGE MICHAEL known as our golden boy with a voice of an angel!

I missed the 20-20 special.  I loved George Michael.

I absolutely loved George Michael. I grew up watching him with WHAM. He was only 7 years older than I. I am at a complete loss over his passing.
