Winter time zoo?
« on: December 27, 2016, 07:59:48 am »
Do you visit the zoo in the winter time where you live? Here, we don't have heavy snow fall, the squirrels don't hibernate. At the Mickey's Grove Zoo, they have a winter time party, they have this party starts early in the morning ends late at nite. they decorate the zoo, nite time display with lights, extra-ordinary dinner, hot coco all the time. What is the name of your zoo? Have a gr8 day  :present:

It is too cold to have zoos here. It always makes me sad because I always wonder where the animals go, most likely a cage. I dont like thinking of the animals in a cage all winter!

They have lights up for Christmas. I've never actually been but I think you just walk through and look at the lights. If they have any animals out, I don't know.

We have a zoo in our area, it's open all year, but probably very little admission in winter months.  They started having lights in the zoo and we went a few years ago.  It was so cold that night, the lights were beautiful, but we didn't see one animal.  They were sleeping in their dens.

The zoo is not the place for me in the winter.  I prefer the warm weather.

I have not. I usually go during spring or fall.

I have never been to any zoo in winter.  You are making me want to go! Your Mickeys Grove Zoo sounds wonderful with its special decorations and hot cocoa, etc.  We have a zoo in our neighboring town, and your post is getting me in the mood to visit!
