Does anyone have a good tip on how to save money

I've been trying to save back atleast $25 a month, but it's hard to stay consistent and do it monthly. Any suggestions?

Oh man, it's so hard to save money nowadays! I've been trying to save some myself, since in 11 months I'm getting married and me and my fiance are trying to get our own place and move out of his parents. What I have been doing lately is paying for things in cash, and then saving the silver change. Believe it or not, it adds up. Last month I was able to deposit $40 in change! I've also been a lot tighter with my spending lately. I've tried to cut back on anything unnecessary, and take anything left over after bills are paid and put that into my savings. It's hard, but I personally feel I myself have learned a lot and have been able to better save, and if I can do it, you can too!

If you get paid twice a month, best thing to do is to immediately put $13.00 from each paycheck into a savings account that you have a hard time accessing like an online bank. That way you wont be tempted to spend it.

Never eat out and never stop at gas stations for snacks. Don't drink and don't by stupid stuff. This should be a real start.

saving money is so hard for me too! Unfortunately I am going to have to ask my parents to help me out because right now my job pays less than my grocery bill

money saving tips

1. check your recurring bills cabel, visa ect call them and see if you can get lower rates
2. balance transfer to lower rate credit cards
3.turn your heat down a couple of dagrees
4. join your local buy nothing group on face book and aske for thing you need first cloths , dishes ect and you can get rid of your items.

The first step to save money is to know where it goes. Use a notepad (or your phone) and write down everything you spend. At the end of the month go over that list and the places you can save will stick out like a sore thumb.

Buy only things that you need. Always check the internet for coupons and coupon codes. I bought my yearly planner and found a coupon for forty percent off. Purchase gifts from rewards programs that you belong to. For example, I bought my wife a wine of the month club for one present. Another present was a package deal: two movie tickets and a one hundred dollar restaurant gift certificate for thirty dollars. Both presents earned me a ten dollar gift certificate to Starbucks. Spend less. I am aiming to spend less than three dollars on food per day in 2017 (special dinner occasions will be an exception-birthdays/anniversaries). I am aiming to ride my scooter to work, more than my jeep, in 2017...and may even try to ride my bicycle on non-suit days.

Don't buy on the spur of the moment. Like to pick up milk from 7-11 no snacks with it. Compare prices between stores and when something is on sale like you buy all the time buy a few. Where a coat around the house so keep off the heater i like that my son not so much.

For me it had been tough because I did not really look at where I am spending my money. Anyway, check what you are spending money on. And see if you can cut that spending a little, say start off with 1% and work yourself up so you do not feel deprive and also give you a chance to wean off your habits.

Do a penny a day and increase a penny each day. So on the last day you are actually saving $3.65. It's amazing how much you can save in a years time. $667 and change.

You could install a free flashlight app on a mobile device instead of always turning on lights in your home. You could also download media files from the Internet and save them.

If you have automatic deposit, just have a set amount each check go straight to savings.  If you don't see it it is easier to put in.  You can also have an automatic transfer set up to g to savings from your checking.  If you recycle, put that money straight into savings.  When items you use often go on sale, try to purchase several at one time.
