No snow here in the east in the Mideast. It was in the 60's. Today the temps have dropped to the lower 40's so I can break out the new winter coat I got for Christmas.

I had a very MUDDY Christmas. Quite unusual for Illinois.

Surprisingly, yes! We left fifty degrees and sunshine in Colorado for twenty degrees and four inches of snow in Arizona! We drove through a dreadful snow storm in New Mexico where we witnessed dozens of cars over turned in the median-most likely due to driving to fast as they attempted to pass people in the plowed right lane. I had precious cargo: wife, daughter, son and two golden retrievers so I was not going to attempt any dangerous maneuvers! The snow made for a beautiful whit Christmas and pretty much kept us in my parent's house playing board games, watching Christmas specials/football, and catching up on loving since our last visit-Christmas in 2015. We only went for four days but that was the perfect amount of time.

I would rather have a warm Christmas in Baton Rouge rather than a white Christmas.
