Obama is on television...again
« on: September 09, 2009, 05:16:21 pm »
I have tried my darndest to be supportive of our newly elected leader. I am becoming increasingly concerned though. It seems to me that he has fooled a lot of people, myself included. He has made a lot of big promises that I am questioning wether he can actually keep. There seems to be a lot of talk but little action. It seems to me that since he has been in office all he wants to do is take free vacations curtosey of the tax payers, spend tax dollars we do NOT have, and get his mug on tv as much as possible! I have been trying to defend him, but feel I am wasting my breath! This whole situation is making me sick!

I'm know how you feel.

I never liked the man to begin with so it doesn't really surprise me.

So far all I can see that he has accomplished is taking money from the poor tax payers and giving it to banks and corporations, like AIG, by way of the bailout. He keeps flapping his gums about waste of funds, but I see him wasting more and more everyday! AIG was given money time and time again although it was proven that they were using that money for HUGE bonuses and luxurious trips for the employees! If you need a bailout, you don't deserve a bonus and certainly don't deserve a lavish retreat!

He said he was going to accomplish his long list of promises without raising taxes, but we now pay 39% taxes compared to 26% this time last year. The sales taxes went up 1% last week as well. I am confused, if taxes did not go up, why are we paying more taxes?!?!?!?!

Really? He has had one vacation since he began, compare it to Bush and his constant vacations. I agree he hasn't got as much done as I had hoped, but I think that is mostly due to the Congress and the House. He can't force the votes. Republicans wouldn't agree with him no matter what. And the Dems are wusses that worry too much about some public opinion. When you let a bunch of stupid lies, like death panels change your mind than you don't deserve to be in office. I hear so many people say they are disappointed in Obama but if I were him I would be disappointed in us. Death Panels, Birthers, parents that won't even let their kids hear him speak. We keep letting the crazies have too much control.
