« on: December 22, 2016, 08:29:54 am »
What kinds of holiday cookies is the best for you? Have you ever baked cookies for the neighbors? When my kids were growing-up I made Christmas cookies often, I learned that the decorating them was the hardest. I love to try all kinds of Christmas cookies, I watched the In-search for the Christmas cookie tv show that was a good show. For me the best kind is the free kind lol Have the hhappiest holiday. Have a gr8 day  :present:

That is a tough question since there are very few cookies I don't like! I am not a great baker. I do have a recipe for candied nuts that I have given as gifts.

No. I don't really like Christmas Cookies. I only prefer the chocolate chips above all. I am also watching my intake on sweet treats. Very boarder line on being diabetic. Merry Christmas to you too.

There's no one in my family that doesn't like Christmas cookies.  We bake all kinds, including the decorated sugar cookies, and the Italian seven-layer cookies.  Those seven-layer cookies are time consuming and disappear in the blink of an eye, lol.

My favorite Christmas cookies are the cut out sugar cookies that we decorate with love.

They are not beautiful masterpieces, but we make them as a family, which makes them special

I used to bake Christmas cookies with my mom when I was younger. We had this really cool cookie press kind of handheld machine and you would put the dough in it, then put a metal disk with a design over the end, and then push the button and it would smash the dough through the design disk and voila, you had a perfect cookie! It was my favorite part of the cookie baking. Then after the cookies were done, we would add sprinkles to them. I would always sneak a cookie or two while mom wasn't looking!

That's funny. I just made some cookies as a gift for someone! Well, technically I didn't make the cookies, I unwrapped the box and placed the ready-formed cookies onto the baking sheet, and then I baked them. They made the house smell lovely! I have made real home-made cookies before now but they do take some time to make and I don't know if they are any less expensive. I make some really nice oatmeal cookies and then I have also had a stab at gingerbread cookies. They  came out really well and they were fun to make. I just didn't have time to start from scratch today.

Sugar clues are the best! They are so yummy and they are even better with sprinkles.

I can't remember the last time I had Christmas cookies. I used to like the ones shaped like trees with green sprinkles and frosting. We got some store bought sugar cookies that are white with red and green sprinkles.
