My friend and I have this agreement whereby every now and then we leave each other food on our doorsteps. It doesn't happen on a particular day, and we don't even plan for it, so it doesn't matter if I leave 3 consecutive bundles of food for my friend and she doesn't leave me anything for 6 weeks. It's a surprise meal. It's so lovely when you've had a busy day and right as you unlock your front door you notice a meal for your family is right there.  I love to think that somebody else can benefit from a meal I have made.

I wish I had neighbors that I know.  I kind of live on a rural road and pretty much can't see any of my neighbors.  Oh well you can't have everything.  I have peace and quiet but no neighborly interaction.

I received a fruit delivery yesterday from my travel agent for booking a cruise and it was a complete surprise.  Very nice and unexpected.

I live in an area where I hardly know my neighbors.  it would be nice to have a better relationship with my neighbors

      Some neighbors are wonderful while some are really a nuisance.

I live in a condo but I dont know many of my neighbors. My husband usually talks with some of the residents.

I make extra servings a lot to take to my elderly parents and working daughters.  I know it is always appreciated by them and a nice treat too.
