another good guy taken to soon.  i just watched a movie with in it last night.  loved the growing pains.  so funny.  he was another really good actor. ( now if his son Robin would get it together )  RIP Mr. Thick

I could be wrong but it seems to me like, considering what a great actor he was and for how long his career was, and the shock of him being gone so suddenly...........it doesn't seem like the media covered it much at all.  I saw ONE post about it on FaceBook and I "googled" it, thinking it was an internet hoax.  Saw sadly, it was for real.  And that's ALL I heard about it, nothing on the radio.....nothing else on-line or on the news.  I thought he deserved more than that.......

This took me by surprise.  I loved Growing Pains and even had the first reunion movie recorded to VHS.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I agree. There's hardly anything worth watching on TV nowadays. That's why I don't get any channels and therefore watch shows and movies on DVD and Blu-ray instead.

Growing Pains was my favorite TV show as a teen. Hate to hear the Alan Thicke passed away.
