I used to love butter pecan and coffee ice cream but those 2 are rare around here. I tried Moose Tracks and liked it but haven't seen that lately either.

When I was younger, I loved Vanilla Fudge, Cherry Vanilla and Rocky Road, but can't eat anything with nuts anymore and these 3 are also too sweet for me.  Then for the longest time, all I wanted was Chocolate Marshmallow but only a specific brand which is now $5 for the 1-1/2 qt (Or whatever the size is now). Believe it or not, Chocolate helps me sleep.

Then one day, hubby brought home a cheap "gallon and one pint" container of chocolate and one called Chocolate Revel. The Revel was okay but I loved the chocolate...and that's what I've been eating every night. I sleep like a baby. :)

I tend to buy more ice cream bars and sandwiches in the winter oppose to the tub/carton. Don't know why...Lately I have been buying Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches, Creamsicles, Strawberry Shortcake and chocolate covered ice cream bars (with the nuts on top).

I rarely eat ice cream in the winter, although if we go to a buffet to eat when we are  out of town, i will eat a little  ice cream then. If i have had some  kind of spicy food and i want to take the burn  off some.  But i do like it in the summer to help cool off.

I don't like to eat too much ice cream around winter, but chocolate ice cream is my favorite.

We eat ice cream just about every night sometimes just ice cream but frequently ice cream on pie.  We live in Florida so we don't let a little thing like winter stop us from eating ice cream.  If we eat pie we eat vanilla on it.  Sometimes we eat vanilla with hot fudge or homemade chocolate sauce.  Or chocolate ice cream plain.  A couple of nights ago we had vanilla with sweetened strawberries on top.  Can you tell I adore ice cream lol.

It will always be chocolate chip cookie dough for me... or cookies n cream. I don't even care about the brand...

Which brings up an interesting point.  I once wrote a letter to Breyers Ice Cream when a container of their chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream contained very little cookie dough and was essentially just vanilla with a few small globs of dough in it.  In writing to them, I asked the puzzling question: is it chocolate chip ice cream with globs of cookie dough mixed in or is it ice cream with globs of "chocolate chip cookie dough" mixed in?  According to Breyers it is both - chocolate chip ice cream and the dough that would make chocolate chip cookies.

Not sure that anyone would be interested, but if you google "Rusty Letters Breyers Ice Cream" a link to the actual letter should come up in the first page of search results - under Rusty's Recent Ramblings.
