After answering the "what's your favorite sports team" thread I thought of something and figured I would share it with all of you to see what you think and to see if you guys have any info on this. Ok,Check this out...

My grandfather had 4 brothers. One of the brothers was named MARION ROSS. He wouldve been alive say from around 1904-maybe 1930...somewhere in that range of time. Rumor thoughout our family is that Marion was training (or had maybe finished training) for a spot on a pro baseball team (I thought when I was a little girl my grandmother said it was the Dodgers but Im not sure)  but Marion died of what was believed to be a heartattack. I have tried to research this info online and cant find anything on it. My grandparents (and basically all living relatives who know the story) are long since passed away so I dont really know how to get any info on this. Just wondering if any of you baseball fans might know of a MARION ROSS who played pro basball long long ago???
