Do you consider yourself lucky?

Some people think of their selves as blessed because they recognize the hand of God in their life.  Other people might consider their self fortunate to have what they have.

The word "lucky" is something different, for me. 

For me, being lucky is all about pleasant surprises. 

Do you win jackpots, contests or sweepstakes?

If so, what have you won in the past?

I feel lucky whenever I spend a certain amount of money in a casino and take more money home than I brought with me.

Although at the moment I do not feel lucky,i know I am. I was in a car accident yesterday. I was not  hurt and neither was anyone else even tough my car was probably totaled.
 also I don't tend to win things from raffles or lotteries .Howewer, I do have many blessing in my life.

Not really.  Maybe in some things, but most of the time I say if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all.

I feel that I am watched out for more than I would say lucky. In regards to lucky as getting something like a lottery or a continuous winning streak at the slots than I'd have to say that I was until I got into my relationship with my now husband. I don't typically gamble but when I would play the slots in Shreveport I would walk in with a set amount that I would spend usually $20 and no longer than it takes to get a drink I would double my money, put $20 back in my pocket and play all night on just winnings. I went with Greg on a date night in the beginning and the money kept coming as usual and he'd come to me every few minutes for more quarters and I'd hand him a bucket as he'd look in aggravation as the bells and whistles and sounds of quarters emptying the machine. We went back once or twice since then after they converted from actual money to tickets and my "luck" had vanished. Don't like that or the way of playing. I liked it "old school" with actual coins. In other ways I feel that I retain some luck as I sometimes get more than what I put in, in life. Or is that just Karma for trying always to be a good person and respect others. Either way I recognize my blessing right alongside my successes and failures and am thankful for all of them to be who I am today.  LOL

If "lucky" is winning - nope that's not me but, if it's more about love of family and friends then I guess I am pretty darn lucky!!

i am not a lucky person per say by winning but i am extremely lucky by the things that have been blessed my way in life ! i am lucky to have my kids and watch them grow and become the adults they are becoming --i am lucky for such wonderful friends and family ! i am lucky i have never been hungry or homeless --i am lucky to have a mighty God that forgives me when i stray --i think we are all lucky in many many ways!

Sometimes i think i'm lucky not in winning things but in stuff that happens in life. My son when he was 6 was hit by a car and only received minor injuries and i thanked God right away. Once when driving i swerved away just in time to avoid an accident.

When it comes to contests, promotions, the lottery, and the casinos, there is no way you could say I am lucky.  I am always on a steady diet of loss! I usually watch others win a bit on the scratch-offs, bingo games, or whatever, but I seem to be always looking at a losing hand!  Hopefully, I will keep being lucky in ways that count...health, a roof over my head and food in my mouth!

I don't ever win anything.. so if you talk about luck in that way... I am not lucky at all... 
But I do feel lucky, or better "blessed" because I have a good life and therefore I should not complain...
yes it could be better.... but it also could be worse....

I don't believe in luck or coincidence. You are blessed if something good comes into your life and everything happens for a reason without cause!

No don't believe in luck! Never won anything but do have my family, health and friends, roof over my head and food on the table so I guess I am luckily in other ways
