Do you have a Faux Fur Anything?

My daughter and I were invited to go to the school plays, art shows, and others..., We needed to go shopping for clothes to go to these activities. We went to Target, they had these Faux Fur coats for $40.00, they looked exactly like the real thing. We had a cat at that time, a good hunter, the sight of the coat tricked him, and wanted to attack, so I let him smell my coat, seen the wow in his eyes, really a youtube moment. That is not all, we went to the art show, they had animal advocates there, we were almost escorted out of there, I said my daughter and I are art exhibits, we don't wear real animal fur, and this company needs an award do you think! Do you have anything made from faux fur story?

Faux fur coats look very cute. That's comical that you and your daughter were almost escorted out of an ART show for wearing a faux fur coat. You'd think ARTISTS that are ANIMAL ADVOCATES would know or at least inquire about it before accusing... Unless, they did inquire, but the way you worded this story makes it seem like they just jumped to conclusions.

All I can say is enjoy your faux fur cause they are even better than the "real" thing - especially since no animals are harmed!!!   I used to have a white faux fur that I wore for special occasions - ah,but that was when I was young and "out on the town"!  Not so much today.

No, but I would love a faux fur throw. I even have a Pinterest board (partially) dedicated to faux fur throws, covers, rugs and pillows.

Yes I have 2 faux furs, I was Lucky and found a Dennis Basso for 7 bucks at the Goodwill.

I have a faux leather coat with a faux wool interior.  Good thing too because I'm allergic to the lanolin in legit wool.  I've never seen anyone where fur... at least not since I was a kid.  Flannel is all to familiar in my neck of the woods.  I think if someone were wearing fur they would certainly stand out.

I did when I was younger but not anymore.However I did save my daughter's little ur coat when she was about a year old.

No, I don't and honestly, I don't care to.   I don't want to be approached by anyone or having folks think I am wearing a real fur.   Just a personal feeling.   I think it's fine for other folks, it's just not for me.

You are speaking my language! I love throws too! When I am in Walmart or another store I rub my fingers threw the folded and stacked faux fur throws stating how much that I REALLY NEED these. I can feel my husband's rolling his eyes even though I'm not looking at him because I have so many throws at home. The ones made from pvc material are so soft. I have a bath robe my mother in law got me for Christmas several years ago that is pvc and feels really good especially in the cold weather.

Not all "faux fur" is fake fur.  I knew a lady that walked up to me in her new "faux fur vest".  I KNOW a German Shepherd's coat when I see it!  I was horrified.  She insisted it was "faux fur", I asked her if the label said "made in China".  She was reading the label and it had been made in China, only the materials for the lining was listed.  She gave the vest a proper burial.

China uses cat fur (not just rabbit fur) in making alot of the "furry mice/*bleep*/toys" for cats.....which is disgusting to give a cat to play with.
