Text Scam

Just want to let everyone know about this...I received a text message that said the following: "Hello _________ you have a request from ________ __________ 2 minutes ago to connect now rcamr.com/fln811ja"

IT'S A SCAM....do not open it!

Yeah, if I don't know who the text is coming from, I wouldn't open it either. It sounds fishy. Thanks for the heads-up though.

I never respond to any text when I don't know who it is from. I just delete it from my in box. I get lots of text messages to ask if I want to earn money and if so, can I return the text with an answer. I even have an unlimited plan with my cell phone company but honestly, I just think, I don't even know who sent the text, I don't know who I'd be texting back. It just seems a waste of my time. So if you are not listed in my contacts, you won't get a response from me.

I would never open anything like this any way.  I do not follow links especially not in a text unless it is from a friend and something like a link to a video on youtube or a news story.

I won't open anything  unless i know who it is from. Just scam them out. People are sick out there and are always wanting your money, and others also. I wish there was a way they could  all  be gotten rid of . Even the cell phone  is awful.  We are on a do not call list and they get around it. I just  push the ignore button and try to block them out and still they come.

Thanks for the info! I wouldn't open a message like that myself, but I know people that wouldn't think twice about opening it.
