Fidel Castro dies

Cuba's longest living president died.  I wonder how that will change things for Cubans.

Good riddance. Maybe the Cuban people will finally become free.

He was not the president any longer.  And no they will not be free.  His brother is in control and has been for quite some time.  And I agree with the poster before me.  buh-bye!  Bet he got one heck of a surprise when he drew his last breath here on Earth. hahahaha

Wow - well I guess we shall see.  I mean if we can "see" anything.  I don't trust anything the media puts out there.  But then I don't watch news anyway just see here and there what information comes my way.

I know and that is sad because that is the only way we can know any thing.  And none of them are any better than the others.

HE had not been in charge of anything in a long time.  His brother was the leader.  So I don't see how it can be hard on them.  I also don't see how it can be hard on them when the leader is mean to them.  I don't think the Jews would have been sad to see Hitler die.

Good riddance! One less dictator on this earth is a good thing, even if he wasn't still in power any more.

lol.  Does anybody research any more?  He had not been in charge in a long time.  His brother has been in charge for a long time.  Nothing will change for the people.  The people who obviously are happy living in the conditions they are living in.

I was reading this morning that because Obama lifted the restrictions off Cuba with no compromises, the current dictatorship (still Castro's oppresive dictatorship style) has since acquired substantially more money & has become stronger, & thus will be harder to get Cuba's government to remove their policies, or change how they continually oppress their people.
