blessedwith3boys I would ask for a referral to a podiatrist
Actually I do have a Plantar Fasciitis. I went months and my doctor not knowing, till I demanded going to a podiatrist and within 10 seconds of him examining my foot, and pushing at the right point, he told he what it was.
I was given Voltaren/Diclofenac , take 2 a day. After taking them for a month every day, my foot was feeling great!! But then, I was told that I should only be taking them when I plan on being on my feet alot
I was told to buy new shoes, ones that bend more under the toes and NOT ones that bend in the middle. Also while at the podiatrist they made me a cushioned wrap that I have to wear daily, it sits in just the right spot that that helps too, however the elastic of it is getting loose so it slips back and forth
They also gave me a couple pages of exercises Im supposed to do
And no it wont go away, I was told they can do surgery to cut the muscle but its only temporary
For those that dont know what Plantar Fasciitis is, if you look at your foot, in the archway right before the ball of your heel is where this hurts, the best way I can describe it is if you had a marble in your shoe that you kept stepping on in that spot
