Veterans Day is today Nov. 11 and many businesses and restaurants are honoring those who served their country with freebies, deals and discounts.

the local Honor Guard came yesterday.
they gave us a nice ceremony and recognized our veteran residents.

They are heroes, and I am honored to have had several in my family....all the way back to George Washington's staff.
