Daylight Savings Time Again
« on: November 04, 2016, 02:33:11 pm »
Yes, tomorrow, Saturday, November 5, it will be time to turn your clock BACK when you go to bed if you live in a state that has Daylight Savings.  I wish we could just let this whole time thing alone because now it will be dark about 5:30 p.m. before long.  I hate that!  The evening seems to go on and on until it's time to go to bed.  And you can't go to sleep too soon or you'll be up at 3 a.m. if you're anything like me.  Then you probably know what it's like in the morning.  Dark again.  When I worked it was dark going to work and dark after you come home within the hour.  If I worked a bit overtime, it was dusk on the drive home.  I can't imagine living in Alaska.

I would like a permanent end to Daylight Saving Time. What's the use? Clocks are not toys!

I would be happy to kiss it goodbye.  I hope we can eventually experience the change where we don't have to mess with our clocks unless we need to change a battery.

Have a great day!

I hate this time of year!  Leave for work when it is dark and come home when it is dark.  Not sure what kind of savings this is.

I don't like it getting dark so early but I agree, it is nice to awake to daylight.

Looking forward to it being light in the morning when I am getting ready.

I wish that they would leave daylight saving time alone. The Lord made it that way and man should not intefere with the Lord's work. :angel11:

My biological clock takes 2 weeks to settle in on the times. i'm going to hate it this year because of the kittens and mom. They expect to be fed at 9 a.m. sharp. As it is now, they're on the outdoor swing looking in the window hollering at us to get out there and feed them at 8 a.m. but we don't budge! :)

You should see it in the morning when hubby finally does go out to feed them. Four little ones and mom surround him and follow him up to the garage where the food is kept and then back down to their bowls near the house.

I have tamed one now but she's a terror. As soon as you open the door, she flies right in. She loves being in the house. She's so adorable but hubby doesn't want an indoor cat.  I do and we've been arguing about it. After all, this is the one he likes the most, too. The runt isn't getting any bigger and the gray and the white face one hang together and both act like they want in and come really close but won't let us touch them.
