Any famous people in your family?

My great grandfather was a sculpture and worked for Mussolini in Italy. He made a horse which is now part of one of the biggest tourist attraction in Rome, Italy (besides the Colosseum).

But that is not really "famous", no one knows about him.... But he did something big, huge, that still stands nowadays and is recognized and admired daily, bu thousand of people.... kinda cool somehow.

It's long been said that we are related to Frank and Jesse James (The Outlaw brothers). Didn't know if it was true but several years ago my Dad had our family tree done professionally and confirmed these are distant cousins. The report also included a family crest that was supposedly been in existence for our family forever.

I have not done any ancestry research.  I am going to claim my nephew as someone "famous" though.
He recently won the Iowa 2016 Culinary Competition for the Iowa Restaurant Association.

My grandmother's cousin researched our heritage for over 25 years. He traveled all over the world and made 2 trips to Jerusalem. He figured out that we are descendants of Matthew. That's as famous as it gets in our family lol Oh, and we also have two castles in Ireland allegedly but I don't know where they are.

No, I don't have any famous people in my family that I know of.

One of my relations was a famous judge for marrying celebrities in Yuma before Las Vegas was the hot spot for eloping. He married a lot of famous people.
Also, related to several presidents, the Royal British family and some of my ancestors were pretty famous in Arkanas and that area. Very possible, the Duval family from there was fairly well off from what I have read and seen.

i have a few Senators, scientists, agriculturists on the paternal side besides and the "right hand man" of George Washington, and supposedly a maternal branch lists Laura Ingalls, the owner and builder of an eastern railroad, and supposedly one of the founders of the Mormons. Mom's side was rich but the money disappeared before it got to her. Isn't that normal?

I haven't connected to any "newer" Hollyweird people yet and really don't want to, but I am hoping to connect with a few of the older ones. I'm at a standstill right now with a brick wall.
