Every Halloween I watch my favorite: Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein

That's tough! I have so many favorites. Carnival of Souls, Night of the Living Dead, Hellraiser, Halloween! I love most old school scary movies. The stuff nowadays is a lot of gratuitous nudity/sex and violence, and not much storyline.  I watched The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari for the first time this month and fell in love!

I dont like horror movies The last one I ever watched was the first Blair Witch movie lol!

So I like silly/dorky halloween movies

Since I was still growing up in the 80's I missed out on a lot of those 80s-classic horror movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Hellraiser, Poltergeist, etc. However in college, we did watch an Evil Dead marathon ending with Army of Darkness. I loved Bruce Campbell in those flicks, so I'd probably have to go with AoD as my favorite. The more modern ones seem to be just too gruesome; I like good plot-lines over "gore-or" movies. Although Saw does tend to be more in that "gore-or" end of horror movies, I did think that the first in the series actually had a good plot as well, so for a more modern horror movie, I'd probably go with that (although the rest in the series moved away from good plots and went straight to the blood and guts).

As for kids Halloween movies, I'd say either the Nightmare before Christmas or Monsters Inc. BTW, we'll be watching Monsters Inc. at our Halloween party tomorrow.

Not a movie, but every year we watch Garfield Halloween, Poirot Halloween and Monk Halloween. We don't do horror movies.

I love that one too, luckily I found their whole Universal Collection cheap at a local consignment store.
