Social Security benefits
« on: October 17, 2016, 07:44:23 am »
Last year, we didn't receive any increase at all.
This year I saw the news[ the information about Social Security for the new year usually comes at this time in October] that we are going to get an increase.
It is a small percentage.
I'll be happy with it anyway.

Until you see what Medicare will cost you. Usually, Medicare goes up MORE than what the increase in the SS. That's what's been happening with our SS.

The average person will see an increase of about $4.00 a month!  Wow, now we can all order off the dollar menu at McDonalds!  I realize any increase is better than nothing, but your Medicare payment will increase, as will the cost of living, so there really isn't any increase.   So happy this country takes such good care of its elderly
