I like quiet, but it does not last for long, lol.

Before I retired, I used to arrive at work a little early. It was quiet and I could get a good start on the day.

Quiet was always better for me. I could collect my thoughts and get ready for the day.

I've never really thought about it before.  I work in a grocery store but what I do is sort of separate from other associates.  I guess I like it quiet so I can focus.  It blows my mind how my kids prefer doing school work with music on.  I could never concentrate that way.

I preferred going to work early when i could, liked the peace and quite, even though it was a big store it never bothered me.  Once we opened i was in demand every time i turned around.  I even like it quite  at home, but hubby is getting hard of hearing and has to have everything turned up.  But when he is not here a lot of the times the TV is not even on.  And at night it must be very quite and dark for me to sleep.
