we went today to get supplies for the storm and ended up going to 5 different stores before getting everything we need  so i am hopeing this does not get as bad as they say it will but we are ready if it does

Prayers for all! My daughter lives a few blocks from the ocean in West Palm Beach, but as luck would have it, she was asked a few weeks ago to open a new store in Hawaii so she is out of harm's way and enjoying even more sunshine than usual.  But the downside = when she left, Matthew wasn't even a tropical depression (or whatever the earliest stage is called) so she did nothing to secure the house or her car.  Her brother is there, so hopefully he will take care of some of that.  But he is one of the foolish who has decided not to evacuate. I pray that decision doesn't cost him dearly.

I think where ever we live we should have a few days of water and food etc on hand. Even Red Cross tells us to do that.

It could be a hurricane, extreme rain storms, or ice/snow storms.

I would hate to have to deal with paniced crowds rushing to get all the same things.

All my grand-kids are in the target areas in Florida.  lots of tension going on.
