« on: October 05, 2016, 09:01:52 am »
Have you ever left your cell phone at work and had to
Go back and get it because that is your only phone
In the house.

I left mine locked up in my drawer at work and made it all the way
Home and came back i bad traffic and made it
Before i was locked out.

Lol

No, but I did have a phone problem just this morning! My Iphone was charging all night long as I do that every night when I go to sleep. I woke up to my phone being 100% charged & unplugged it. Got my kids up and around & I go to look at my phone to see the time & it is flashing the red battery symbol. I didn't think too much of it even though I knew it was just at 100% so I plugged it back in to charge. Not even ten minutes later my phone dings & screen shows 100% charged. I took it off charger & kept on about my morning routine. When it was time to take my kids to school my phone was again flashing the red battery. I did a factory hard reset on my Iphone & plugged it back in. I got home this morning after taking my girls to my phone functioning normally since I reset it & was happy I could fix it on my own. But that was a short celebration! My husband & I were moving things around in the bedroom when he noticed my phone was flashing warning he went to pick it up & it was extremely hot! My phone wasn't fixed at all! But after talking to the rep my battery is to blame, thankfully it is something minor & not something overly priced to fix. It is sad how dependent I am on my phone but I program everything in it & keep everything on it. I would seriously be a lost person without it.

Now you know why I have a home phone as well as my cell, it's well worth an extra $6 a month to me.

No I have never encountered that problem thank goodness and even if I would leave it somewhere, I still have my landline cause I just don't trust depending only on my cell.

Yes but luckily was not far from work.  Went to call my husband to let know was on my way home and the car phone would not connect.  Thought my phone was in my purse but wasn't.  Only went back because it was a Friday otherwise I would have waited until the next day because we have a house phone.  Have to keep it because my husband is hard of hearing never hears his cell phone .

Iphones tend to start acting weird after new updates. I had to factory restore mine several times in a week because it kept randomly restarting itself or not charging. It finally started acting right when I restored it to a back up on my computer instead of from the cloud

I left my cell in my pants pocket once and threw my pants in the washer. I remembered where it was AFTER the washer filled with water! Needless to say, a trip to the cell phone store was in order immediately lol

I have never left mine at work ( when I was working). I always carry mine in my handbag  or else I would forget!

I have a cell phone and a house phone.  But my house phone don't work anymore and all I ever get is sale calls on it so I did not get it fixed.  I use my cell phone for every thing.   :)

Strangely, you are not the first person who has told me this today! I wonder why so many Iphone's have messed up after updates (I googled this after being told & so many people have had similar problems to mine after updates), I love my Iphone (used Iphone's for years) but for the money I spent on the phone (as well as everyone else) you would think they would fix bugs before updating systems. I honestly have no clue as to what caused my phone to freak out as I usually just swipe what needs to be done on my phone to keep it current & do not put much thought into it. I guess it could have been an update & I am sure the rep would not out right tell me if that was what caused it. I have never had any issues with my Iphone's in the past so I am hoping maybe this was a one time freak out & I won't have to deal with this again  because the amount of heat coming from within that phone was just downright scary to me.

I'm still planning on getting an iPhone 7 in a couple months when my contract is up but they do things like that. I know several people that refuse to update until they see if other people have problems with it. This is my first time have an update malfunction. At least it isn't like the Samsung phones that are exploding on a regular basis

I've never did that, especially if it's your own phone.  In the future you should check  your purse as the last thing before leaving work.
