They are telling us to expect rain here in NE KY from the hurricane when it moves on up closer to VA.  We need rain but not all at once.

I suppose because it is such a beautiful place to be the 99.9% of the time that a category 4+ hurricane is not bearing down on them!


Prayers to all in the affected areas.  My daughter's home and material possessions are a few blocks away from the ocean in West Palm Beach, but thankfully she is out of harm's way.  Cannot say the same for her brother and their cat who apparently intend to ride it out right in the danger zone.  I wish they (he) would reconsider, but it isn't our call and pretty soon will be too late to exacuate anywhere...
