My answer is the same as all the other how often do you do something questions, who knows? It depends on how I feel at the moment, who else wants to do it and just plain how many times the opportunity arises. I almost never put going out to dinner on a calendar, unless it's one of those rare occasions we do it as an event.

We usually dine out once a weekend.  But my husband is an excellent cook, so I don't mind staying home and enjoying his weekend meals.  And I don't mind cleaning up after.

I rarely go out to dinner. When I do, it is only about 1-2 times per month at Applebee's (my and my family's favorite restaurant). I always look forward to that!
