Decade With The Best Music?

Do you think there is a decade that has the best music?  Myself, I have a difficult time between the 60's, 70's, and even the 80's.  I guess if I had to listen to only one, it might have to be the 70's.

I'm sure it's an age thing but me, I love the 60's and early 70's.   I remember being a teenager and my parents complaining about the music I listened to and how much they loved the 40's.   I said to myself, I will always keep up with the current music and when my son was a teenager I started complaining about the music he listened to and telling him how my music was the best.

I'd have to say 60's and 70's when The Eagles, Crosby Stills and Nash, Joan Baez, Peter, Paul and Mary, Santana, Janis Joplin, Elton John, Billy Joel, Carole King, James Taylor and many many others were going strong.

I think it depends on when you were a teenager.  For me, it has to be the 60's.

I have a difficult time deciding between the 50's and 60's.  L love the music from those eras.  I also love beach music which to me is timeless.

I have a wide berth for "best music" and I'll say from the 40's to the 80's, simply because I grew up listening to music from all of those years.  There's nothing better than the Big Bands, Oldies, Doo Wop, and of course, the British Invasion.

Although my "decade" was the 60's, I think the one with the best music ever was the 40's - the Big Band Era cannot be beat!!

80s were the best for me...at the time I didn't know it because with the good was the bad. Happy Labor day...
