Decade With The Best Music?

I think the 80's are my favorite decade with the best music. I went to a lot of concerts as well. thats what made it so  great.

Give me old school music every time.  The music of today doesn't have any meaning or it's very vulgar.

I have a hard time deciding between the Motown and Disco eras as favorite.  I also am discovering Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett again. 
It is interesting reading about your musical choices.  It tells something about taste, but mostly about how old we are.  Funny how music brings back memories...usually good ones!

I would have to say the eighties because I grew up to this music but older music had always played a part because of my parents. We still believe Elvis remains the King of Rock & Roll... I was shocked when my husband and I met and he knew very little about Elvis. In my family it's almost like a pilgrimage to go to Graceland. I met Priscilla and Lisa Marie once when I was very young.

80s had the best. I just don't like those bands from the 60s and 70s. All of it just seems so boring.

I think the 60's and 70's are the best. I like a lot of music even some of todays hits but there is nothing better than 60's and 70's.

yup but the 60s and the 70s are very old now  when I put on one of the off the wall songs they always get asked who sing that song.

I'd say the 1980s.

I think it depends on when you were a teenager.  For me, it has to be the 60's.

I don't know about that as a "hard and fast" rule.  I was a teen in the 90s and much prefer music from the 50s, 60s and even into the 70s. Not that I didn't and don't listen to music from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. And I listen to a LOT of classical, so I dig even further back!
