Ugh!! Allergies!!

The weeds around here have popped up badly with all the storms we have had the last few months. My allergies have also gotten pretty bad. Every time I am outside, they aggravate me. In the morning it's worse than the afternoon. My nose and inside my head feel like it is on fire! I have nose sprays galore and used some.

Any ideas on what I can do to soothe my poor nose? At least the outside of it? I've used bag balm before, but I don't have any right now. I was thinking of using my aloe gel. Anyone know if that would work?

Forgot to mention: I also would not mind trying anything herbal. If I have something already in my stuff I had not thought of. Like maybe some herbs or something.

I wish i could help you, but i am in the same boat.  Right now my nose feels wlike what ground hamburger would feel and almost as red, my eyes are so red and watery, i had a lady ask me if  i had partied all night, Nope. But couldn't sleep because i was so stopped up. Am just hoping for a good freeze soon. I need to get weeds hoed up.

I am nearing 50 in a couple of years, and have never suffered from allergies of any kind. However in recent days, I have noticed my eyes getting very itchy, slightly swollen and they sting somewhat. When I go to watch my kids play football in the early evening, I sit on the grass and am starting to notice my nose getting stuffy. I wondered if I am starting to get allergies. My mom also started to get hay fever in her forties and my older sister said the same thing. It's just odd that after all these years, I developed an allergy to something. You'd think I would be tolerant of most things by this age.

I hope you feel better here soon!! It's awful!! I had to use my Rhinocourt last night. It helped some, but not enough.

That is very possible. I had a friend from Nepal, he lived here for about 4 years, then during the 5th year, he started having really bad allergies. Turns out he was not allergic to anything prior to his move because he had built an immunity to everything there, but the plants here were different. The doctor he has explained that he may have developed allergies, but never noticed because they were minuscule. There was a chance that that year, because of the storms we had early, his system went into overdrive.

Mine are bad as well. Hate this time of year.
