I had a cat named Little p but she died a couple years ago. I miss her very much. I had her for 19 years.

We technically don't have a pet.  The cat belongs to our daughter.  The cat's name is LJ which is short for Little John.

My parrot's name is Emmett. I also have two goldfish named Gordy and Wilbur.  We had a wild turkey living in our backyard for awhile and I named her Cupcake.

I have a friend that names her pets after foods / dishes. So her black cat is named Pinot (Noir), her British Blue was named (Bleu) Cheese, and her black and white cat is Oreo. Before she got Oreo, she had a grey cat that she eventually gave to me; his name is Ratatouille since his fur is similar in color to the grey mouse in the Disney movie by that name. She also helped me pick out my dog after I had to put my Mastiff to sleep. We went to the animal shelter where we found Meg (as the shelter informed us as to her original name). We kept her name as Meg, but added a middle name to make it into a food name. Thus her full name is Meg Rita (aka Meg-a-rita = margarita). My third pet is a cat that I got from my girlfriend's ex (her kids' father). She was really the kids' pet, but as with most kids they didn't want to actually care for it (and neither did their father) so I ended up taking it in. The kids had originally named the white cat with orange spots "Tiger", but because the cat had no tiger stripes and was female (I thought the name Tiger sounded masculine), I renamed her "Tygra". But as I got to know her personality more (she's a little bad-*bleep* even taking on Meg sometimes) I changed it again to Lil' T (like a gangsta rapper).

I have a cat whose name is Gidget.  We named her this because when she was a kitten she was so little that she reminded us of the program Gidget.  Now she weights about 9 pounds

We named our rescue puppy Teddy, no idea what breed he really is but he looks like a fluffy little teddy bear.
